ROSEVILLE, MI (My TV20 News at 10) --- Authorities found no trace of Jimmy Hoffa or any human remains, when they took soil samples behind a Roseville house.

But, Police believe the case has uncovered some riches for some people.

Police are warning senior citizens, crooks are targeting them as part of a scam.

Crooks send letters claiming to be from the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality.

The letter informs the homeowner Hoffa's remains are actually buried on that person's property.

Police tell us one crook will show up at the house, and escort the homeowner to the backyard where the dig will take place.

A second crook then robs the house.

Police advise seniors to contact them immediately if you receive a letter or phone call from someone claiming to be investigating the Hoffa case.
