DETROIT, Mi. (My TV 20 News at Ten) ---Another round of heavy rain swept through the Detroit area yesterday and today. Detroit Metro reported 1.37" while Detroit City Airport recorded 1.53". So far the metro area has seen nearly 4" so far this month, nearly twice the normal amount. This rain has caused flooded roadways and sending area creeks and rivers on the rise. A FLOOD WARNING is in place for the Lower Rouge River at Inkster and Dearborn. At 5am this morning the stage was 10.0" The river is rising and will crest at 11.1" early Saturday. Minor flooding is expected. Things should dry out later today and stay dry for the weekend.
