UNDATED (My TV20 News at 10) --- Hundreds of thousands of Michigan residents may have their Christmas ruined thanks to that weekend ice-storm that left them without power.
The worst of the ice storm was in an area southeast of Grand Rapids and northwest of Lansing where 280,000 electric customers lost power. In that area, power may not be restored until well after the Christmas holiday, perhaps as late as the end of the week./ Crews from a number of utilities are working around the clock to bring power back.
In southeast Michigan, numerous spotty outages left residents in the cold. This morning, DTE crews were working to bring power back to the more than 80-thousand customers who were left in the dark.
