BLOOMFIELD HILLS, MI (My TV20 News at 10) --- Turkia Mullin speaks about her arbitration win against the Wayne County Airport Authority.
The former head of the agency is now considering suing Wayne County.
Mullin spoke publicly for the first time Friday morning at her lawyer’s office after a arbitrator ruled Thursday the airport board wrongfully fired her in October 2011.
That means she’s owed $712,000 by the authority which is the remainder of her contract.
Mullin’s firing came two months after she quit as Wayne County’s economic boss.
Mullin came underfire after it became public she received a $200,000 from the county.
Mullin returned the money, but, is now considering suing to regain the severance.
