DETROIT, Mi. (TV 20 News at Ten) --- A local man is using wood from vacant buildings in Detroit to make guitars. Thirty six year old Mark Wallace's passion for music motivated him to start the project.

Mark's idea has already impressed people so much that he was selected as a recipient of the "Knight of Arts Challenge", a program that promotes art. He was awarded eight thousand dollars for his project.
