DETROIT, Mi. (TV 20 News at Ten) --- The future of the Old Tiger Stadium site in Detroit is in limbo. The Detroit Economic Growth Corporation and the Old Tiger Stadium Conservancy group can't agree on development plans.
Both groups are interested in helping with developing what's left of the demolished site. The issue is that the conservancy wants to keep the entire existing baseball field and the DEGC does not. The DEGC says space needs to be made available for new housing and retail projects.
The DEGC held an afternoon press conference to discuss the disagreement.
