PONTIAC, Mi. (My TV20 News at 10) --- We're getting our first look at how the Pontiac Silverdome may soon look.
This drawing shows the stadium being split in two. The top half would house a natural grass soccer stadium, with the roof deflated. The bottom half would be split for other events.
Motor City Supporters Group leaked the drawings on its website. It's made up of professional soccer fans. The Silverdome's owners are hoping to attract a Major League Soccer team to town.
They are also seeking a tax credit to help with the estimated $50 million price tag. Owners will present their plans at the March 15th meeting of the Pontiac City Council.
