DETROIT, Mi. (My TV20 News at 10) --- It's a bitter pill for some members of Detroit's Firefighters Union who will see a ten percent pay cut.
Some of their fellow firefighters already saw a 10 percent pay cut last year, and they're not impacted now.
Detroit's police union members have already seen a similar cut in their pay.
The unions representing police and firefighter have vigorously fought the cuts, which were part of Detroit's bankruptcy recovery plan approved by Governor Snyder.
The city is some $18-billion dollars in debt. The cuts begin mid August.
