DETROIT, MI (TV20 NEWS) --- It's been decades since this motorcycle hit the road with the Detroit Police Department.

This 1937 Harley-Davidson "Knucklehead" is on permanent display at the Detroit Public Safety Headquarters.

Employees at Taylor's Biker Bob's donated their time to do the $5,000 in renovations.

The bike's value today is around $20,000, if not more! The city bought the motorcycle in 1937 for $450.
