Will Tax Plan Lure New Homebuyers?

DETROIT, Mi. (TV 20 News at Ten) --- Today, mayor Mike Duggan announced that some Detroit homeowners may be overpaying for their property taxes. The city plans to reassess properties to make sure everyone is being billed fairly.

For those who recently moved from the suburbs to Detroit like musician Michael Seger, the announcement is good news. Michael doesn't own property in Detroit but is now motivated to buy after knowing he will get a fair deal.
