SELFRIDGE ANG BASE, Mi. (My TV20 News at 10) --- Governor Snyder appears to be joining the battle tonight to save two Michigan Air National Guard units.

Selfrdige is home to the 107th Fighter Wing. Pilots fly the A-10 "Thunderbolt," more commonly known as the Warthog.

The Air Force wants to eliminate the unit, and one in Battle Creek as it downsizes.

Governor Snyder is not sure Michigan is being treated fairly, and wants an open and transparent look at the Air Force's plan.
