DETROIT, Mi. (My TV20 News at 10) --- Prepare to get your rock on at the symphony this spring.

Detroit's native son rock star Kid Rock will be preforming with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra May 12th for a benefit concert.

The one night only event mission is to raise one-million dollars for the financially troubled organization. Rock will be playing his hits while backed by his band The Twisted Brown Trucker band and an 80 piece orchestra.

Tickets go on sale this Saturday at 10 A.M., with prices range from $100 to $350 dollars and VIP packages are expected to go for up to $1,500 -- that includes admission to the post concert party.
