13-Year-Old Shoots Self at Middle School

SOUTHGATE, Mi. (My TV20 News at 10) --- An unspeakable today tragedy at a local middle school.

This morning, a 13-year-old Davidson Middle School student committed suicide in a boys restroom. He had shot and killed himself.

Another student found his body - and the school was immediately placed on lockdown. No other students were in the restroom at the time of the incident.

Hundreds later turned out for a candle-light vigil to remember the teen.
