HOLLYWOOD, Ca. (My TV20 News at 10) --- The cause of death for iconic singer Whitney Houston has not been revealed.
The 48-year-old Houston was found dead in her fourth floor room at the posh Beverly Hills Hotel Saturday afternoon.
Police say there was no apparent foul play and that it appears she died from natural causes.
Houston dominated the music industry for many years, starting in the middle 1980s and coming to an abrupt end towards the late 1990s. During her chart topping years, she sold more than 55-million records and had multiple number one songs.
Houston also appeared in two successful movies, "The Bodyguard" and "Waiting to Exhale."
Her career came to an end when a she lost control do to a drug addiction. Houston admitted on many occasions to battling cocaine, marijuana and prescription medication addictions.
