Woman Accused of Pouring Boiling Water on Ex-Husband To Stand Trial for Murder

According to the San Mateo County (Calif.) Times, a California woman has been ordered to stand trial on murder charges for allegedly pouring a pot of boiling water on her ex-husband while he was sleeping in November of 2011.

The woman's ex-husband, who suffered burns on more than half his body, died two weeks after the alleged attack from a bacterial blood infection, according to the San Mateo County Times report.
