Man Tries to Hang Girlfriend From Tree in His Backyard, Police Say

A bizarre story from California.

According to a report from the San Jose Mercury News, police said a 31-year-old California man was arrested over the weekend for allegedly trying to hang his girlfriend from a tree in his backyard. The man was arrested on an attempted homicide charge, according to the report.
