Hunter Shot and Killed After Being Mistaken For Wild Hog, Police Say

A tragic hunting accident in South Carolina last weekend.

According to a report from South Carolina television station WHNS, authorities said a 51-year-old Florida man was shot and killed by a fellow hunter last Saturday after being mistaken for a wild hog.

The shooter was charged with criminal use of a firearm and not having a hunting license, according to the WHNS report. The shooting remains under investigation, according to the WHNS report.
