Designated Driver? Intoxicated Woman Had 10-Year-Old Grandson Drive Home, Police Say

He isn't your average designated driver. Or even a licensed driver for that matter. ...

According to a report from the New Orleans Times-Picayune, police said a 54-year-old Louisiana woman was arrested and charged with contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile and allowing an unlicensed driver to operate a motor vehicle for allegedly having her 10-year-old grandson driver her home because she was intoxicated early Wednesday morning.

A 48-year-old woman who was in the vehicle is also facing the same charges, according to the Times-Picayune report. Police stopped the vehicle after witnesses called authorities shortly after 1 a.m. according to the Times-Picayune report.
