What You Need to Know: Fireworks Bus ServiceDDOT OFFERS EXTRA BUS SERVICE FOR FIREWORKS DISPLAY

The Detroit Department of Transportation (DDOT) will add extra bus service to several routes for the Target Fireworks on Wednesday, June 24. The inbound extra service is being provided to our customers in an effort to save gas, ease congestion and provide parking relief between 5 - 9 p.m. The routes are: #23 Hamilton #25 Jefferson #27 Joy Road #29 Linwood #31 Mack #34 Gratiot #37 Michigan #48 Van Dyke #53 Woodward As a result of some street closures during this annual event, passengers who travel on many bus routes going into downtown Detroit will experience service reroutes. Reroutes will begin at 6 p.m. on the following bus lines: # 07 Cadillac – Harper #10 Chene #16 Dexter, #18 Fenkell & #23 Hamilton #25 E.
