The McGregor Library takes centerstage in the new Danny Glover project, "Highland Park-The Movie." Art will imitate life as the film’s storyline reflects efforts to reopen the library that closed seven years ago because of financial problems. You also have the chance to meet Danny Glover and the rest of the cast.

They will take part in a fundraiser for the Library Thursday Night. A VIP Reception is from 6:30-7:30 at "Taste" in downtown Detroit. It's open to everyone after that. Tickets for the VIP Reception are $250, and $75 for general admission. Call Highland Park City for more information.
