DETROIT,MI (MyTV20Detroit) -- As the work week comes to an end, a cold front will slide over the Detroit area bringing with it a chance for some scattered showers. This front will also usher in some cooler air for the weekend. It looks like highs today will still reach the 60's despite the scattered showers, but Saturday's highs will only make it into the 50's. It's looking like Halloween will stay mostly dry, although a stray shower can't be ruled out completely. Sunday will see another small chance for scattered showers. Don't forget this is the weekend to set the clocks back!
.

The long term forecast shows early next week to be dry, but turning a bit cooler.
