Helping The Unemployed

Tomorrow, any purchase you make at the “Barnes And Noble” bookstore in Royal Oak can help someone in need at Goodwill. The bookstore plans to donate up to twenty-five percent of it’s sales tomorrow to Goodwill’s unemployed program.

Goodwill then plans to use those funds to train unemployed workers to get new jobs. In order for your purchase to help the needy you need to mention “Goodwill”.

JAMES HARPER
BARNES AND NOBLE REP.
"I think that it’s really important, there’s about three hundred people in their program right now that are getting their GED’s or who are getting job training through Goodwill. And Goodwill is a non-profit entity and so literacy is a big part of that and obviously that’s what Barnes and Noble cares about."

The Barnes and Noble in Royal Oak is located at Fifth and Main street.
