Students at Mumford High school in Detroit were evacuated after an
ex-spelled student brought a gun to school. Police arrested a fifteen year old boy after they say he took a BB Gun to the high school and showed it to some of his classmates.

Detroit Public Schools officials say they’re working on improving the situation at Mumford which is known for incidents like today’s.

"We have a new principal here on site who’s doing a great job, his been here two weeks. He met with the parents yesterday to make sure that we can change the climate here at Mumford, he’ll meet with the parents again tomorrow and continue to work on that regard. We need everyone’s help in that regard."

Students returned to class after the gunman was arrested.
