Strip Club Restrictions

A Detroit city council vote regarding strip club restrictions in our city may have to wait until next year. Today, council members were expected to vote whether the sale of alcohol should be banned from strip clubs along with requiring that exotic dancers wear pasties and stay six feet away from customers.

But not enough council members attended today’s meeting to have a forum.

If the council doesn’t schedule a special meeting, the vote will have to wait until after the council’s winter recess in January.
