Major Investment in Volt Production

DETROIT (MyTV 20) - A lot of GM employees are breating a little easier. Their jobs seem more secure following a huge investment announced Monday morning by company leaders.
GM is investing $336 million to produce the Chevy Volt at the Detroit/Hamtramck Assembly Center. Production of the Volt starts late next year.
Monday's announcement means GM has invested $700 million at eight plants across Michigan.
