DETROIT (MyTV 20) - New charges for a political consultant already involved in a bribery case. Sam Riddle was arraigned Tuesday on felonious assault and weapons charges, after an incident Monday night at the home he shares with his girlfriend, former state representative Mary Waters.
According to police reports, riddle pointed a shotgun at Waters, after waters found him in the home with another woman.
Riddle's bond was set at $25,000. If he posts bond, he will be fitted for a "GPS-tether" device, and will be forbidden to have any contact with Waters.
Riddle is also facing charges in connection with the Synagro sludge contract bribery scandal.
Meanwhile, the woman police say was with Riddle, 30-year-old Takesha Washington, was arraigned on charges of possession of marijuana. She is also wanted in Roseville on embezzlement charges.
