Amped-Up Police Presence for City Fireworks

DETROIT, Mi. (TV 20 News at Ten) --- Expect new safety measure this year at the Detroit fireworks event at Hart Plaza.

Mayor Dave Bing announced that a lot more police officers will patrol the area to make sure everything is under control.

While the city already had plans to increase security, the Boston marathon bombings caused more security measures to be considered.
