Breast Cancer Awareness Month

DETROIT, Mi. (My TV 20 News at Ten) --- Now more than ever doctors recommended that women should get screened for breast cancer even if no one else in their family has ever had it.

As part of "Breast Cancer Awareness Month", the "Karmanos Cancer Center" in Detroit is promoting the screenings even more than usual.

Our Jorge Avellan spoke with Judy Ballard, a breast cancer survivor who after being treated at Karmanos now works for the center.
