March 15, 2012

DETROIT, Mi. (My TV 20 News at Ten) --- U.S. congressman Hansen Clarke wants the federal government to loan and provide grants to the city of Detroit to avoid signing a consent agreement that would hand over all city authority to the State.

The Detroit representative says the government did it back in 1975 with New York City who was facing a similar financial situation.

Our Jorge Avellan spoke with the congressman and will have details tonight on My TV 20 News at Ten.
