ROCHESTER, MI (My TV20 News at 10) --- Michigan’s only "Chick-Fil-A" store remains closed, it won’t re-open until September 4.
The fast-food restaurant at Oakland University is closed for the summer break.
It may have missed out on is enjoying one of its busiest days ever.
Customers packed stores around the country, to show their support.
"Chick-Fil-A" has come under fire nationally, following last week's comments by its owner.
He believes marriage should only be between a man and a woman.
He points out gay people do work at "Chik-Fil-A," and the restaurants do not refuse service to anyone.
The mayors of Boston and Chicago are trying to block the fast-food chain from opening in their cities.
