Chrysler Bonuses Earlier Than Expected

February 7, 2012

STERLING HEIGHTS, Mi. (My TV20 News at 10) --- We already know Chrysler workers will be getting something extra in their paychecks, but their bonuses will show up earlier than expected.

Hourly workers at Sterling Heights Assembly are each due $1,500 profit sharing bonuses.

Chrysler boss Sergio Marchionne says those employees will receive them February 10th. That's a month earlier than scheduled.

Marchionne has not said why the checks are going out early. But, Chrysler posted its first annual profit last year since 2005.

Profit-sharing checks are traditionally sent to Chrysler, GM, and Ford in March.
