How Furniture Helps Your Low Income Neighbors

DETROIT, Mi. (TV 20 News at Ten) --- The community organization "Humble Design" is helping a group of low income residents from Detroit have a new outlook on life by furnishing their apartments.

Thirty-nine new housing units at the Mack-Ashland complex have been furnished for residents in need, many were on the verge of being homeless.

My TV 20's Jorge Avellan spoke with one woman who received keys to her apartment today and has her story..
