Legal Victory for Kilpatrick

April 25, 2013

DETROIT, Mi (My TV20 News at 10) --- It's a legal victory for Kwame Kilpatrick but this one has nothing to do with his federal corruption conviction.

The family of Tamara Greene lost its $150 million civil suit against Kilpatrick and the City of Detroit in 2011.

The family claimed Kilpatrick had a role in the stripper's 2003 murder.
The Greene's appealed to the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. The family claims Greene performed in a much-rumored, but, never proven, part at the Mayor's Mansion six months before her death.
