McGinnis Youngest Mayor Ever!

TROY, MI (My TV20 News at 10). Maureen McGinnis celebrates as she becomes the youngest mayor in Troy's history.

The former mayor pro tem replaces Nancy Daniels, who was recalled Tuesday night.

McGinnis may also have the shortest term as mayor.

The new mayor pro tem could replace her Monday night, as the city council will have 30 days to name the person to fill the remainder of Daniels' term.

Voters will choose a new mayor in November 2013.
