DETROIT, Mi. (My TV 20 News at Ten) --- Victor Mercado, the former city of Detroit water department director pleaded guilty today to conspiracy charges.
He's one of the defendants in the Kwame Kilpatrick federal corruption case in which several people, including Kilpatrick are being accused of using city hall to get rich.
Mercado could be sentenced to eighteen months in prison and may have to pay one hundred thousand dollars in fines.
