DETROIT, Mi. (My TV 20 News at Ten) --- Community groups gathered today in Detroit to announce their support for legislation that was recently introduced in Lansing that if approved would create a regional mass transit board in Michigan.

The idea is for a regional board to raise funds to improve the transportation system to make it a lot easier to travel within Metro Detroit and to and from Metro Airport.

Our Jorge Avellan spoke public transportation users and will tell us tonight on My TV 20 News at Ten what they think about the proposed board.
