DETROIT, Mich. (My TV20 News a 10) --- Publisher and human rights activist Sam Logan was laid to rest after passing away December 28th of a heart attack. He was 78.

The highly-respected Logan was well known for running the Michigan Chronicle, one of the state’s oldest and most powerful African-American newspaper. Friends and supporters spoke of Logan in the highest regards during this morning's funeral at Greater Grace Temple in Detroit.
