The Shoes that Spawned His Shooting

DETROIT, MI (My TV20 News at 10) --- Eighteen year old Kavon Coleman was shot multiple times in August of this year over his $400 Michael Jordan gym shoes.

Coleman and a friend were going home after getting lunch at the mall when four men stopped them on Schoolcraft and Greenfield.

Coleman was struck, his friend was unharmed. Now that he is on the mend, Kavon and the Detroit Police are searching for his shooters.
