DPS Students Show Their Green Thumbs

DETROIT, Mi. (TV 20 News at Ten) --- Teaching their students about healthy living is part of a strategy by Detroit Public Schools to turn their district around.

Together with the districts office of nutrition, school officials have launched forty-six new gardens through out the district.

Among them are "Golightly" school students who are planting and eating what they grow.
