You may want to make this Friday "family night" at the movies. Greg Russell has more in tonight's Screen Scene.

Opening on Friday is MONSTERS VS. ALIENS. It's a 3-D animated adventure for the whole family. When an alien attacks the earth, the monsters must step up and become heroes to rescue humanity. For Reese Witherspoon, she also knows this is a movie her kids will enjoy….

Greg: You had to have a lot of fun doing this movie didn't ya..

Reese Witherspoon: It's so exciting to be part of a different movie going experience … you know… um. I like to take my kids to the movies but to be part of something that's sort of interactive where they have to reach out and touch and really sort of have a different experience … I think would be really fun for peoplee.

Greg Other celebrity voices include Hugh Laurie, Will Arnett, and Seth Rogen. Monsters vs Aliens is rated PG.

Out now on DVD is the Disney animated feature Bolt. It's the story of a tv super hero dog who believes he really has super powers. The Bolt DVD is filled with fun bonus features.
