It's all about speed in the theaters this weekend. Greg Russell has tonight's Screen Scene.

Opening this Friday is Fast & Furious. Vin Diesel and Paul Walker reteam for the ultimate chapter of the franchise built on speed. They rejoin Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster in the new high-octane action-thriller. For Vin Diesel, it was important to get all the original players back together again.

Vin Diesel: That was a huge component to realizing this movie. It was why I came on as the producer…. Its why I, quite frankly, Its why it took me so long to come back to the Dom character. Because it had to feel like we were picking up from where we left off.

Fast & Furoius is rated PG-13.

Also opening Friday is Adventureland. Its the summer of 1987, and James Brennan ,played by Jesse Eisenberg, a recent college grad, cant wait to embark on his dream trip to Europe. But when his parents can no longer pay for the trip, James has little choice but to take a lowly job at a local amusement park and thats where the fun ride starts. Adventureland is rated-R.

For screen Scene… Iim Greg Russell.
