MyTV20's Chief Meteorologist Curtis Smith has been forecasting weather in the Midwest for more than 15 years. He is a graduate of Southern Illinois University and holds a certificate of Broadcast Meteorology from Mississippi State University. Curtis also has the prestigious Seal of Approval from the American Meteorological Society.

Curtis loves to track and forecast the wild weather swings of the upper Midwest. From snowstorms to violent thunderstorms, Curtis not only has seen it all, but he knows how vitally important weather information is to our area.

Curtis and his wife Jessie have three sons. In his spare time, Curtis loves to hang out with his family and play sports, especially golf, basketball, and racquetball. He is a huge fan of the Boston Celtics.
