Rip Hamilton is getting ready for the start of the upcoming season. He's not alone. Hamilton and the other Pistons gathered at their Auburn Hills Complex for tonight's "Media Day Event."

The players posed for their pictures, and answered reporters' qestions. The Pistons new coach is ready for the start of training camp Tuesday.

"From Day One, we're going to have to preach what it's really going to take to be a great defensive team. That's going to be our goal from the get go because these guys are going to have to buy into what we're going to do because we have the firepower where I think we can be explosive offensively."

The Pistons host Milwaukee in the Ocotober 7th pre-season opener.
