Avril Latest Lion To Be Fined

Lions defensive end Cliff Avril has been fined $15,000 by the National Football League for a horse collar tackle on Oakland quarterback Carson Palmer last Sunday.

It was the fourth consecutive game in which a Lions player received a fine or discipline for rough play.
