McIlroy Sets 36 Hole U.S. Open Record

Rory Mcilroy set a U.S. Open 36 hole score record of 11 under par 131 in taking a six shot lead midway through the Open in Bethesda, Maryland.

McIlroy followed up his 65 of the opening round with a five under par 66 on Friday.

Y.E. Yang at five under 137 is in second place.
