Pistons, Rip Hamilton Officially Part Company

The Pistons have officially waived veteran Rip Hamilton, who is expected to sign a two year deal with the Chicago Bulls.

The team will save four million dollars for each of the next two years under the salary cap with Hamilton's departure.

He was due to make $19 million in those two years.
