Rangers Prevent Tigers Series Sweep

Alexi Ogando beat the Tigers for the third time this season as the Texas Rangers scored a 5-2 win over the Tigers Thursday, avoiding a sweep in the three game series.

Ogando, now 11-3, allowed just two runs pitching into the seventh inning.

Wilson Betimit and Ryan Raburn drove in the Tiger runs.
