Royals Outslug Tigers In Series Finale

Johnny Giavotella lined a tiebreaking two run single to left in the seventh inning to push the Kansas City Royals in front for good and on their way to an 11-8 win over the Tigers Thursday.

The Tigers rallied twice from behind in the game, going to the lead for the last time on Austin Jackson's two run homer in the sixth.

Magglio Ordonez also homered and doubled twice for the Tigers.
