Tigers Lose Reliever Albuquerque For First Half Of 2012 Season

Tiger relief pitcher Al Albuquerque is recovering from elbow surgery that will sideline him until the middle of the 2012 season.

Albuquerque is not expected to begin throwing again until late in spring training, with the hope that he can be ready to pitch by the All Star break.
