The Detroit Pistons signed free agent forward Chris Wilcox to a multi-year contract.

The 26-year-old Wilcox has averaged 9.3 points and 5.3 rebounds over 448 career NBA games (211 starts), playing for the Clippers, Sonics/Thunder and Knicks. He played in 25 games last season for New York and an additional 37 contests for Oklahoma City. In the 62 games, he averaged 7.2 points and 4.5 rebounds.

"We are excited to add a young, athletic big man in Chris Wilcox," said Pistons president of basketball operations Joe Dumars. "Chris provides our team with some added depth in the front court and we look forward to watching his continued development while here with the Pistons."
